Obituary for William "Bill" Lampe III
William C. Lampe, III, 85, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 in the Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation Center. Born October 8, 1936 in Waynesboro, PA he was the son of the late William Lampe, II and Pearl (Hege) Lampe.
After graduating high school Bill served with the United States Air Force from July 14, 1954 until his honorable discharge September 3, 1956 earning a National Defense Service Medal. He was employed as an assembler at TB Woods, Chambersburg.
He is survived by two children, Winona Lampe (Kathy Buchanan) of St. Thomas, PA and William C. Lampe, IV (Rhonda) of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren, William Lampe, V, Matthew Lampe (Madi), and Niccolas Lampe; two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Charlotte; a sister Shirley Rowe of Delaware and two step-brothers, Ronald and Barry Spessard of Waynesboro.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by SimpleChoice Cremation Services, Inc., Chambersburg, PA.
