Obituary for Verna Martin
Verna J. Martin, 64, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 in Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, PA. Born December 2, 1957 In Waynesboro she was the daughter of the late Paul Vernon and Delores Jean (Bream) Martin.
She was a graduate of the Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1976. Verna was employed at Mount Saint Mary’s University, Emmitsburg, MD in maintenance and grounds from 1985 until 2012. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching and she loved her cats.
Verna is survived by three sisters, Margaret Smith of Waynesboro, Paula Berrettini of Mechanicsburg, PA and Wanda Poole of Waynesboro; a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and one great nephew.
She is preceded in death by her partner Gail Ellenberger.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by SimpleChoice Cremation Services, Inc., Chambersburg.
