Obituary for Tracy Fox
Tracy L. Fox, born October 20, 1956 gained her angel wings on Thursday, February 24, 2022 with her sister Bonnie and her “Snarly Girl” by her side. She was the daughter of the late J. Nelson and Joanne (Statler) Fox.
Tracy graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1974… with “honors”.
She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Fox Robinson; her aunts, Jeanne Stouffer, Kay Mentzer and Darlene Meyers and her husband Leroy whom she held a very special bond with.
Tracy is loved by so many; it is difficult to list them all… Valerie Monroig, Gary Mahon, Dana Shimer, Jackie Kimple, Deb Petrilla, Deb Witherspoon each held a special place in her heart. Shooky which she entrusted with her very last radish “toof”. Her “adopted son” Gary Verno also known as the chosen one, her “daughter” Snarly Girl, CJ Barnhart whose shenanigans are not newspaper material and her Tavin whom she absolutely adored.
What was not to love about a woman who loved her family and friends almost as much as she loved Fox’s, Corgi’s, iced coffee and the White Sox?
Looking back, Tracy would agree that there was no better group of friends and customers than those she had the privilege of serving at Fox’s West End.
At Tracy’s request there will be no formal service but to honor her happy feet a celebration of life, party and ride will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by SimpleChoice Cremation Services, Inc, Chambersburg.
