Obituary for Shirley Miller
Shirley Ann Miller, 76, of Chambersburg, PA passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, September 16, 2022. Born June 29, 1946 in Chambersburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Mildred (Knipple) Wright.
She is survived by two children, Lisa (Wright) Marszalek and her late husband Jack Marszalek of Chambersburg and Lawrence Wayne Miller, Jr. of St. Thomas, PA; three brothers, Eugene (Teresa) Wright of Florida, Jim (Mary) Wright and Darryl (Ruby) Wright both of St Thomas, PA; two sisters, Jean (Wayne) Rosenberry of Chambersburg, PA; Rose (Ray) Estevez of Benderville, PA; five grandchildren, Nathan Mills, Quinn Mills, Dillon Miller, Jenna Miller, MeKayla Miller; three great-grandchildren, Rylan Mills, Kaelyn Mills, and Marilyn Mitchell; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son, Phillip “JR” Miller and three brothers, Woodrow “Sonny” Wright, Robert Wright, Sr. and Eddie Miller.
Shirley loved gardening, cooking, especially cookouts with her family, sewing, dancing, listening to music and playing cards.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 9, 2022 in the Open Door Church, 600 Miller Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Arrangements are by SimpleChoice Cremation Services, Inc., Chambersburg.
