Obituary for Sharon "Colleen" Carbaugh
Sharon “Colleen” Carbaugh, 70, of Chambersburg, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in her son’s home Fayetteville, PA. Born September 26, 1952 in Fort Benning, GA, she was the daughter of the late Michael Wayne and Dorothy Ann (Skotzky) McCormick.
Colleen worked at the Stanley Company, Chambersburg for 19 years when she retired.
She is survived by two sons Joseph W. Carbaugh and his wife Stacy and Steven L. Carbaugh and his companion Brittney; two grandsons who she loved dearly, Kaden and Keegan; three brothers, Michael McCormick of Chambersburg, Danny McCormick and his wife Sue of Mercersburg, and Terry Carey of Carlisle; a sister, Janie and her husband Chip of Missouri; two nieces whom she adored, Heather and Heidi McCormick of Chambersburg. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her beloved husband of 47 years William J. Carbaugh and her sister Pat.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the PROMEDICA Hospice of Chambersburg for the care given to Colleen.
