Obituary for Scott Courtney
Scott E. Courtney, 68, of Chambersburg, PA passed away May 9th, 2022 in his home. Born November 20, 1953 in Sacramento, CA he was the son of the late Henry C. and Beverly (Fondren) Courtney.
Scott was employed as a mill operator and welder for Qualex Manufacturing.
Scott was a 3rd degree black-belt in Taekwondo. He enjoyed painting, woodworking, bonfires, grilling and outdoor activities with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Paula R. (Palmer) Courtney who he married June 24, 1988; four children April Sanders (Eugene) of Van Buren, AR, Nicholas Courtney (Shannon) of Van Buren, AR, Charlotte Cockrell (Cody) of Chambersburg, PA, and Misty Beasley (Stephen) of OK; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchild, and two siblings, Paul Courtney and Lee Courtney. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Courtney and daughter, Amanda Potter.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by SimpleChoice Cremation Services, Inc., Chambersburg, PA.
