Obituary for Patricia "Pat" Wilkinson (Hurt)
Patricia Ann Hurt Wilkinson, 88, of Shippensburg, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Born January 18, 1934 in Wytheville, VA she was the daughter of the late William and Louria (Dillow) Hurt.
Patricia is survived by her son Stephen Wilkinson (Kelly Marshall); A special niece Carol Carlyon (Tom) and a special grand niece Kim Bradshaw (Earl). She also has 2 nephews, Boo Manuel (Robin) and Gary Manuel(Rhonda), 2 great nephews Danny and Preston, and a great niece April. Patricia had two very special friends she loved spending time with. Betty Martin and Iris Reinhardt (John).
Patricia preceded in death by her parents, a son David, six sisters, two brothers and a special great niece Kristi.
She Graduated from George Wythe High, then went to work for the FBI in Washington DC.
She enjoyed sports and coaching softball. She also enjoyed duckpin bowling, Bingo/Keno, and local casinos, and watching the Washington Redskins her favorite team.
Patricia had a lot of special friends at the American Legion in LaPlata and Laurel MD.
In lieu of flowers she would like donations to be made to the American Legion Post 82 LaPlata, Md
A celebration of life will be held privately at a later date in Wytheville VA.
