Obituary for Michael King
Michael A. King, 56, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away March 2, 2023 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 19,1966 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of Brian King (Diane) and Shirley J. Brunfritt both of Greenville, NC.
After graduation in 1984 in Prattville, AL he enlisted in the United States Air Force to serve his country and served for 15 years. Michael met his late wife Leslie "Dee Dee" DeAnn Posey in high school before he went to the service. and married in 1988. Together they had two sons, Michael "Mikey" {Rachelle) Direnzo of Gettysburg, PA and Garrett King of Fort Sill, OK.
In addition to his parents, step-mother, and sons he is survived by his life partner Jennifer Keitz; two sisters Patricia "Trisha" Casella (Scott Hensler) of Gardnerville, NV and Summer Cato of Montgomery, A; two brothers Jason King and Nick (Emily) King; and a grandson Leo Direnzo of Gettysburg along with multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He loved God and talking with people one on one, getting them to broaden their minds and thoughts. He enjoyed learning, dancing, working on hot rods and telling "dad jokes".
It is at Michaels request that no services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to SimpleChoice Cremation Services Inc., Chambersburg.
