Obituary for Lei Shatzer
Lei Ann Shatzer, 66, of Greencastle, PA went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 26, 2022. Born October 3, 1955 in Endicott, NY she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Carol (Cooper) Williams.
Lei is survived by her loving husband Monte K. Shatzer who she married September 30, 2017; three children, William (Tanya) Reihart of Greencastle PA, Richard (Emily Bentz) Reihart of Waynesboro, PA, and Tina (Ramon) Gongales; a sister; Lori Lei Short of Greencastle, PA; nine grandchildren, Zachary Reihart, Terrence Dixon, Eric Reihart, Tyler Reihart, Kylee Reihart, Haylie Reihart, Abby Gongales, Brad Short and Maribel; two great-grandchildren, Spencer Reihart and Syara Reihart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lei was most recently employed by Greencastle American Legion Post 373 as a manager of the kitchen and before by Star Inn for 23 years.
Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, riding the motorcycle, her inside and outside plants, crocheting, and cooking. Lei was the past president of the Auxiliary for six years as well as the vice president for a few years. Lei was also the historian for the Legion Riders.
There will be a celebration of life service at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by SimpleChoice Cremation Services, Inc., Chambersburg.
