Obituary for Edda Rider
Edda Rider, 78, of Waynesboro, PA passed away on March 9, 2023 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born April 10, 1944 in Pirmasens, Germany she was the daughter of the late Otto and Elsa (Hinkle) Wittmann.
Edda was employed at the Ft. Detrick Commissary until her retirement. She loved gardening and spending time with her family. Edda was very loved and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband Glen Rider of Waynesboro; daughter; Tina Adelsberger of Greencastle; three sons, Wayne Kelley, Michael Kelley, and Gene Kelley all of Waynesboro; and one sister Birgit Alles of Germany. Also, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren who will dearly miss their Oma.
In addition to her parents, Edda is preceded in death by her first husband Roger W. Kelley, and a brother Eugene Wittmann.
