Obituary for Donald Mower
Donald Mower, 89, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 in his home. Born November 6, 1933 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Leon H. and Thelma (Shields) Mower.
Donald loved being a farmer. He started when he was 18 years old and just recently retired. His greatest passion in life was flying small aircraft from his on-farm runway.
He is survived by two children, Joel Mower, Sr. and wife, Linda and Judy Pearson and husband, Jeff both of Chambersburg; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret and a brother, Eldon L. Mower.
A memorial service for close friends and family members will be held and a later time. Arrangements are entrusted to SimpleChoice Cremation Services Inc. of Chambersburg.
